Relay for Life at Case Western Reserve University

Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.

The nationwide theme of Relay For Life events in 2008 is "Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back."

This theme takes on a year-round mentality, encouraging participants to celebrate survivors throughout the year and remember those we've lost to the disease all while we are actively fighting back.

The theme also stretches to encompass the three major ceremonies conducted during each Relay For Life event. To view information about each corresponding ceremony, read to the right.

Corresponding Ceremony
    · "Fight Back" is the theme of the Closing Ceremony. Each participant will take a pledge to fight back against cancer year-round and commit to fight for a cure in the next year's Relay.
