Relay For Life at Case Western Reserve University

Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.

Relay For Life

1st Annual Relay For Life

Relay For Life is about coming together as a campus and a community to take up the fight against cancer!  It is a way to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those who lost their battle, and fight back against cancer by raising awareness of prevention options and patient services.  Case Westerns Reserve University is partnering with the American Cancer Society to bring Relay For Life to our campus!

The Relay For Life event begins on April 18th at 6pm and spans 18 hours.  The event continues throughout the night, symbolizing the fact that cancer never sleeps!  Teams will camp out at the track on Case’s campus, located at The Village at 115.  Throughout the event, team members take turns walking around the track while enjoying all sorts of activities including music, live entertainment, food, and games.  The entire campus as well as surrounding community is invited to attend and be a part of Relay For Life.  All proceeds raised from this event are used for cancer research, education, advocacy, prevention, and patient services, including services available right here in Northeast Ohio!

There are plenty of ways to get involved with Relay For Life.  From forming your own team, to being honored at the Survivor dinner, to helping to support this very website…the opportunities are endless!  Look to the links on the left to figure out the best option for you to get involved.  We want you join us in making this event a huge success and setting a precedent for Relays to come here in Cleveland!

Sincerely,
